Thanks Giving, thinking ahead!

It is that time of year again, and when you are on a budget you have to plan for larger family get togethers. This is my current plan, If you are in Ohio you can follow this to the letter, if you are in another area you may have to do some price research, but here is my Goal. feed 7-10 on a $30 budget.
It helps a lot if you have a deep freeze or a family member that does so you can get your turkey a head of time as well as get more than one at the prices on sale, especially if you like turkey for Christmas as well.

This is my Thanksgiving menu, most items are on special some where, and at low cost. I will try and add optional staples at the end.

Turkey- $15.00 Marc's currently has turkeys for $.68 cents/LB making a 22 lb turkey for under $15, got two one for another time or for Christmas

Stuffing- $.69cents a box at Aldis X2
Corn- $.99 cents at Aldis and walmart X2
Cranberry sauce- .89 cents at Aldis and walmart
Gravy-$1.00 per jar, at just about all stores right now
Rolls- $.99cents per pack at Aldis X2
Potatoes- $.99 cents per box instant Aldis
Chicken stock- $.99 cents per Lg box. at Marc's and Walmart
Desert- $3.00 I make mine from scratch, so I have pumpkin cooked down from Halloween pumpkins
the crust is $1.49 at Aldis, the condensed milk is $.60 cents at Aldis and walmart, the rest is all from the pantry.

Total for My dinner plan $28.20

French fried onions $1.99
Yams $1.29
Potatoes scalloped or augratin $.79 cents
pre made Pies $4.99-$9.99
